Marie is a Colorado native who spent her early years near Castle Rock, Colorado. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Metropolitan State College of Denver (now Metropolitan State University of Denver) in just three years during the early 2000s.

With a wide range of interests, Marie has held a variety of positions throughout her career, including working as a legal clerk at a collection agency and as a loan processor at a local financial institution. Along the way, she has enjoyed the opportunity to gain diverse professional experiences while helping others achieve their personal and financial goals.

Joined by his loyal companions—Hugo, the witty sproonghaft, and Adina, an energetic stone mouse guide—Barry ventures into the dangerous Mountain Realm in search of the legendary Helmet of Barroniq.
